In 2009, Serena Chen designed "Series of  Love "collection. In 2010, Serena Chen continues to create another collection called "  Bulletin of Mood".
在2009推出"戀愛3部曲"後.2010年Serena Chen繼續設計出心情告示榜系列.
In this collection, Serena Chen uses simple elements;such as clouds,rain,the sun and rainbow to describe  mood changing.
在心情告示榜系列,Serena Chen運用簡單元素;如雲朵,雨,彩虹還有太陽來描述心情的喜怒哀樂..

When you are in a bad mood,  what do you like to do ?Just want to be alone? This necklace is called "Rainy Day ", and it also represents I am " In a bad mood".  As you can see there is a rainy cloud under an umbrella with a rain drop. The necklace expresses that oh no , I am in a bad mood, please don't bother me. just leave me alone.
當你心情不好時,是不是最想自己一人獨處呢?這款"雨天項鍊"同時也代表著"壞心情".它正描述著滂沱大雨下烏雲撐著一把傘...透露著...本人今天心情不好, 請勿打擾的思緒.

From the necklace above, you can see a rainbow between a sunny cloud and rainy cloud. This necklace I call it "Rainbow" which means "Getting Better ". It would like to tell after rainny day (bad mood), the rainbow  comes up. Now my mood is getting better and moving forward to be in a good mood!
雲朵之間終於出現了彩紅了.....烏雲也漸漸變成了白雲.這款彩虹項鍊也同時隱喻著過渡時期的心情.它描述著經歷過壞心情侵襲,心情調適後已由壞心情---->好心情中邁進..

Have you noticed that when people are in good mood, they just can't hide their smiles. (Especially when they are falling in love). The necklace above is called "Lovely Day" which reveals I am "In a Good Mood" . It also shows a lovey day with the sun and gorgeous clouds. It just exactly represents that kind of good mood!
不知道你有沒沒察覺過,當人在心情好的時候就會不自覺微笑.(尤其是戀愛中的人特別會有這樣的情形).上面照片裡的項鍊就叫做"晴朗" 也代表著"好心情". 湛藍的好天氣由緩緩升起的太陽 & 柔和的雲朵組合而成正, 美美的好天氣正敘述著這股好心情..

Hate Materials / 不討喜的材質

What does it make of ? Have a guess ! In this school project, I had to bring the materials that I dislike. No clues what the professor would ask us to do those hate materials with ? One day he said, tried to experiment your hate materials, and then he left Sweden. Geeee !!!! What I was going to do with my recycling plastic bags ? still no clues ! Almost 2 weeks I tried any possibilities to experiment such as; bit , hammered , mixed them with glue and so on ..........
猜猜看照片上這些胸針是由什麼材質做的呢 ?有一次學校有個project. 教授要求我們帶我們討厭的材質到學校.實在搞不懂教授要我們帶這些材料到學校幹麻. 某天他說,拭著去實驗你們所帶來的討厭材質吧!然後他就離開瑞典.整整2個禮拜我試著各種可能實驗我所回收的塑膠袋. 咬 , 敲打,將它導碎跟膠水混合.....

One day my professor said ! ok ! you had whole month to transfer your hate materials to jewelry !!! Oh my god !!! My experiment still didn't go any further steps ! I got really panic that moment ! What I was going to present my work during coming up the presetation in front of my professor, teachers and whole students in our department?
某天教授又說, 好了!該事時候將你所討厭的材質變成珠寶(請看備註一) 了喔! 我的天ㄚ! 我的實驗都沒進展ㄟ!要怎嚜把我的回收塑膠袋變成珠寶勒 ? ㄧ個月後要驗收的成果發表,我該怎嚜面對教授所有老師及系上所有學生. 當下的我開始腸胃絞痛了超緊張的! （不能在老外面前丟臉,才是重點啦！）

Yet things just happened ! I collected more recycling plastic bags from my classmates ! Whole my space in school filled up with recycling plastic bags ! I really got into the project ! kept experiment & experiment ! When the result came out, I was very fascinated by the colors & texture & organic shapes !
傻人還是有傻福的 ! 我收集同學家裡所有不要的塑膠袋! 我的座位都是回收來的塑膠袋!我整個人超投入這項project ! 卯起勁來實驗! 當我看到最後辛苦代價有好的結果時, 整個人欣喜若狂 ,也被這意外實驗出來的作品的顏色,紋路及外表給迷住 !

(備註一,在國外,珠寶的涵義更廣,包含藝術性任何實驗材質珠寶,能戴在身上都可稱為珠寶)

Ha...出遊胸針已經悄悄出沒了喔! 當Serena看到這款作品完成時整個人超興奮的. 很古錐!
Ha...Fly Around Brooch is coming up!I Serena was quite excited when I saw the work finished. So lovely !

其實胸針一直是Serena喜愛的產品款項其中ㄧ項.不過在台灣好像沒有很多人習慣用胸針來裝飾.胸針是一個很好拿來畫龍點睛的裝飾品.除了拿來戴在身上外,Serena還常常把小胸針別在帽子上,圍巾上或者是包包上.下次你也可以試試看喔因為秋冬正是佩戴胸針最佳季節!
Brooch is always Serena's one of favorite item but in Taiwan not so many people wear brooch.Actually brooch is a very good accessory to dress up.For instance, except for wearing brooch on my shirt or jacket, I wear it on my hat or even wear it on my scarf and my bag !Maybe you can try next time since autumn/ & winter are a good timing for wearing brooch.

Natural Breeze / 自然微風- 休憩戒指

哈囉 ! 終於把我自然微風最新的作品 - 休憩戒指放到部落格上跟大家分享. 如果你仔細看那戒指你可以看到小鳥的嘴上似乎咬著東西!!! 哈哈沒錯,它除了在樹枝上休息之外也忙著享受嘴裡的食物呢! 這隻小鳥在出遊之後, 需要休憩一下順便補充一下體力 啦!!! Hej ! here I finally upload my latest work - "Take a rest " ring of Natural Breeze Collection.If you look the ring carefully, you might see something on the bird's mouth ! ha ha !!! The bird is taking a rest on a branch and having food as well ! The bird needs to take a rest after "Fly Around ".

戒指戒身本身是方形的, 但是是從左邊到右邊漸漸變細,戒身的上面也是慢慢往戒身下面變細喔!下面照片就可以很清楚看到戒身右邊是比左邊細喔! The ring shape is square but it is getting narrower from the left to the right side,and from the top to the bottom is the same !

品牌鋼印蓋在戒指的背面有別於傳統的蓋法蓋在戒身內圍喔! My label Serena Chen stamps on backside of the ring instead of on inside !

有看到我的另一個設計重點嗎?小鳥並不是立正站好在樹枝上喔 ! 小鳥是微微朝著樹枝傾斜喔! The bird slopes gently towards the branch.

日常隨手可見可得的東西,我們常常把它視為空氣.自然微風這一系列是將日常所見的植物及動物轉化成我創作的靈感.
When things we can see or get easily in our daily lives, normally we often take it for granted. Natural Breeze collection is the creatures or plants I see during my daily life, and I transform it to my inspiration.

從小就住在山邊, 每天看到樹或山是很習引為常的事.從我房門看出去就能看到大自然景像,早上被小鳥歌唱聲吵醒. 至於在我家後院看到松鼠活動也是很平常的事. 到了晚上還有青蛙跟昆蟲鳴叫聲哄我入睡. 小時候看到山羊在住家附近逛大街真的是見怪不怪. 哈哈!我可是很會模仿山羊的叫聲喔!
My back home is on a small hill which is surrounded by mountains. Threes just opposite my window form my room, There are always birds flying around or singing in the morning to wake me up. Bumping in to squirrels in my backyard it's pretty common.During the night, the fogs and insects sing to make me sleep. when I was kid see goats and walked around in the neighborhood,it's totally not strange at all. ha ...I am very good at mimicing the sound goat making !
在瑞典唸書時,我的住處附近就是湖泊跟森林.穿越森林抄捷近去學校是我常做的事.有一次很妙,當我要把我的腳踏車推到後院的倉庫時,我撞見ㄧ隻鹿.當時我跟那隻鹿四目交接好一會.那瞬間我倆都凍結在那不敢動.它看我我看他.非常有趣.
During studying in Sweden, my place was next to a lake and forest. I quite often took a short cut to school by thru the forest. I even ran into a deer when I was pushing my bike to my storage in backyard.It's a very interesting experience since when the deer and I had eye contact, both of us stared at each other for a while, and then we just frozen for a while.very funny.

首先你可以看到這對出雙入對的小鳥遊走人間.真是忌妒他們的愜意悠哉的人生啊!羨慕嗎?
The first one "Fly Around" earrings and necklace.From those work you can see the couple of bird, they seems having easy lives and just fly around ! quite laid back.!

第2件作品是"搖曳".如同你所看到, 花朵們懸盪在樹枝上.由這件作品我想表達,炎炎夏日,當微風徐徐的吹,花朵們在樹枝上柔柔的搖曳著. 讓人看了整個人都愜意放鬆下來.還有順帶ㄧ提,當你戴著 "搖曳"耳環時,它也會在你耳下輕盈搖曳著喔!!! 你可以選擇只戴單邊"搖曳"耳環喔!!!也很有型喔.

Second one is "Swim ",as you can see that the flowers linger on the branch.From this work I just want to describe during the summer time that flowers are swimming softly when breeze blows, and it looks so relax and makes us calm.By the way when you wear them,they will swim just like they do on a branch. ha ha !!
